1. Provide up to 100 feet of RG-6 cable as well as the hardware necessary to ground the satellite antenna.

2. Run all cables to the TV either via an exterior wall or from a basement.

3.  Connect the receiver to an existing telephone jack (if available) in the same room with the supplied telephone wire. This will be necessary for ordering programs etc.

4. Walk the customer through on how to use and operate the user friendly system.

5. Finally contact the programmers at the operations center to activate the set top.

If you request other services asides standard professional installation, such as additional receivers or whatever it might be, you will need to pay the installer for those additional services at the time of the installation. It’s important to talk to your installer about what service comes standard and what comes with an extra charge. Some of these type of services include but might not be limited to: second receiver installation, second television hook-up, wall fishing of coax cable and more.

When installing satellite dishes it’s important to understand there is a line of Sight Requirement and other restrictions. Therefore in order to get unhindered Southern Exposure: you must ensure there are no visible obstruction in the immediate path between your mount point and the satellites located over the equator south of Texas.

While installing its also essential that renters obtain written permission from your landlord to show the installer prior to the start of the installation. On the flip side homeowners must ensure their Home Owners Associations don’t restrict mounting where you intend for your dish to be mounted. For a safe and worry free installation process please ensure you contact you landlord as well a HOA depending on whether you own or rent and make
all arrangements prior to the arrival of your dish installer.
